Today returns us to the Survey series featuring violinist Alyssa Park, oboist Tom Boyd, clarinetist Andrew Leonard, flutist Amy Tatum and double bassist Nico Abondolo. The source material for the piece was simply my asking them "what is your single favorite note on your instrument?" The reasons why were, of course, widely varied, but nonetheless I had one note from each instrument from which to coax a musical journey.Andy
